Instant booking

1. On weekends marked “Book instantly”, choose your dates and room: you will see the total price for two guests.
2. Enter your details and pay the €100 deposit online with Stripe. The room is held for 30 minutes while you complete payment.
3. Once payment succeeds, your booking is confirmed automatically and you receive a confirmation email. The balance is paid at the property.

From enquiry to confirmation (other dates)

1. Choose your experience, dates and room, then submit the form. Your enquiry does not require payment or reserve a room.
2. We check room and activity availability and send you a quote. Availability shown in the calendar is subject to this check.
3. If you accept the proposal, use the Stripe link provided by The Monteleone before the deadline stated in your quote.
4. Once we have verified your payment, we will send you a booking confirmation. The payment receipt does not replace confirmation of the programme by The Monteleone.

The price of your experience

Published prices are starting prices for two people and for the stated number of nights. They vary according to the room type and offer chosen. Before any payment, your quote will state the total price including applicable taxes, any amounts payable separately and how they are calculated, the included services, optional extras and the validity of the quote.

Activities with external partners take place at the locations stated in the programme. Your proposal will specify the provider, meeting arrangements, transport, any requirements and included services. The terms of the Seven experience do not automatically apply to activities offered by other providers.

Olive harvesting takes place only on the weekends of 6–8 and 13–15 November 2026. At other times, tastings without harvesting can be requested with a separate quote.

€100 deposit and balance

A deposit of 100 euros per booking, deducted from the total price; the balance is payable on arrival. For weekends that can be booked instantly, the deposit is paid online with Stripe when you book and your confirmation arrives by email. For other dates you will receive the Stripe link once availability and the final price have been checked. Free standard cancellation until 15:00 Italian time (Europe/Rome) seven days before arrival, with a refund of the deposit; after this deadline the 100 euros are retained. If we cannot confirm availability, the deposit will be refunded in full. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

The deposit is a payment towards the price of your proposal, not an additional charge per person. It is not a card pre-authorisation. Card details are entered on the Stripe payment page, not in the enquiry form on this website.

Cancellations and changes

For standard cancellations, the €100 deposit is refundable until 3:00 pm seven calendar days before the arrival date, Italian time (Europe/Rome). After that deadline, the deposit is retained. Your quote will state the exact deadline date before payment.

To cancel or request a change, write to info@themonteleone.com, giving your name, dates and booking reference. Changes to dates, room or programme are subject to availability and a new agreement; they are not confirmed automatically.

If The Monteleone cannot confirm availability after a payment has been made, the deposit will be refunded in full. If an activity cannot go ahead, we will contact you to discuss the options applicable to your proposal. Your statutory rights under applicable law remain unaffected.

Other bookings

For accommodation-only bookings, the “Book your stay” button takes you to the current official website, where the terms shown during that booking process apply. Weddings, events and separately requested services are governed by their respective proposals.

Check-in from 3:00 pm; check-out by 10:00 am. Breakfast is included in your stay. Other details and any supplements are stated in your proposal.
